LizardHead:

I am a retired Army Paratrooper from the 82nd Airborne Division. LizardHead is a nickname that was given to me while serving with the 34th Engineer Battalion in Pho Loi, Vietnam. I was a 10 ton lowboy driver, who had the duty of hauling a bulldozer to our worksite about 12 miles from basecamp. I also operated the bulldozer along with other roadbuilding equipment such as the Clark M-290 earth scraper.

I have been married since 1973 (49 years) with 2 children and 2 Grand children. We live in the town of Tempe, Arizona, which is the home of ASU. (Arizona State University).

I have been in love with wood since my childhood on a farm in Bethel, Ohio around the  Cincinnati area. I love the grain patterns in a piece of timber, and have since embraced those patterns and color variations in various species of hardwood trees. I like  using a mixture of  exotic woods to create different effects in the "Wooden Things" that I build.

I am fortunate to have a supplier of these hardwoods who's origins are from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, and Australia.

The  materials I use are of the best quality available, and my supplier does the same. I take great care in culling out any knots and imperfections that do not lend themselves to my projects. Then upon completion of that piece it is carefully inspected so you get the best I can offer.
